On Tuesday, my mother-in-law came over in the morning to go swimming with us. She had never visited our community pool. We spent about two hours swimming and lounging around before she and I decided to get cleaned up and go thrift-store shopping. She spoiled me and purchased two skirts and a blazer for me, plus a shirt for Hubby. One of the skirts and the blazer were 50 percent off, and we happened to go on Senior Day, so she received an extra 25 percent off!
When we returned to our home, my father-in-law was over. The four of us had dinner - which was cooked by my very-talented-in-the-kitchen Hubby. We spent the rest of the evening talking around the dinner table. I like those moments.
Hubby spent $7.98 this day at the grocery store to make sure we had enough for all of us at dinner. I spent nothing, but that's thanks to my mother-in-law and her generosity while we were out shopping.
