October Will Be Health Month

October will be a busy month. Our budget for miscellaneous expenses demonstrates this. But there are so many other things to do this month. I am participating in a charity walk. I am preparing for National Novel Writing Month (my third year participating) in November. I have books that need to be read before November, or else I won’t remember what I’ve been reading. We may be moving. There may also be some job changes (for the better) on the horizon. October will be slammin’.

Yes. I said slammin’.

Now I know me. I know that when I get busy, I will completely overlook the good habits I should continue to cultivate – good eating, drinking lots of water, getting in exercise. The scale has remained at a constant for the past month. That’s good because I’m not gaining weight. However, I want to continue to lose.

Thanks to Trent at The Simple Dollar, I have signed up for Health Month. I want to stay on track with my health goals, but I have been terrible at doing them lately. So Health Month will hopefully provide more motivation and accountability for October. Plus, with my goal of limiting my time on the Internet, I can hopefully tackle all the projects I want to complete and tie up loose ends that have been hanging for some time. Darn you, Internet, and your addictive ways.

If you are participating in Health Month, let me know!

  3. Jerry, thank you for the well wishes. :)

Laura, thank you for using the ridiculous vocabulary I've chosen to use. Every once in a while it's necessary.
