EA Sports Active

One of the things I splurged on over the weekend was EA Sports Active.


I absolutely love it.

The first preset workout (at the easy level, of course) absolutely kicked my rear end! I played around with a customized workout and so far, I’m enjoying the basketball drills and the boxing exercises the most. The dancing seems really easy, but I haven’t done the hardest setting yet. It’s been getting very warm here lately, and our two-mile walks aren’t as enjoyable with the heat. I’m still not crazy about the gym, so I plan on integrating the Wii workouts in with my exercise DVDs and hopefully some walking during the dusk hours to amp things up.

I’m feeling very motivated lately to shed this weight.

  1. I totally agree!! This game is SO awesome!! This was the main game I used when I was losing weight!! Lost 50lbs with it on the High Intensity level!! But really any level is going to help and as you get fitter you can up the difficulty! ;) Have fun with it! The 2nd game called "More Workouts" is every bit as good too!!!

  2. I gotta try the high intensity levels then. I didn't lose weight this week, but my eating habits haven't been as great as they could be. But I absolutely love the workouts, especially the sports drills. My arm is so sore from the baseball pitching!
